We have tunes appearing in the Logo TV series Sordid Lives premiering this month!
And we have music featured in two new films being released this month as well:
And as always, we'vew been playing up a storm. Chicago to Michigan and all around Southern California.
Special thanks to our Saugatuck crowd. We were pretty pleased after our 3rd encore at The Dunes. We are now heading into festival season. We will be playing:
We are also heading back to Chicago for Backlot Bash and I am sure it will be rockin! Below is a review from one of our fans in Chicago.
Hope to see you around :)
Sean
When Sean Wiggins and Lone Goat are in town, Chandler plays with them. And they were in town this Friday. So I obviously went to the show... and am now blogging about it. Sean Wiggins and Lone Goat quite honestly are not exactly my typical type of music. She's sort of soulful folk/country/rock. Of those three, I like rock. But, I have to admit, she's amazingly talented, and like Randy Jackson says, "If you can sing, you can sing the phone book, daaaaawg!" Her shows are nonstop energy (and girlfriend plays for like 2 hours), her voice is awesome, and she mixes up enough fun rock in with the folk/country sounding songs to keep everyone's (really my) attention. This past Friday was (I think) the fourth time that I've seen Sean Wiggins perform. She's become a bi-yearly or so fixture at T's, and played the Reeling Film Fest last fall. The better half, Em and I made tee-shirts for the Reeling Film Fest show, so Sean now loves us. I also suspect that she probably thinks I have a nice rack. Mostly because I suspect that everyone thinks I have a nice rack. Anyway, the show was pretty friggin' awesome. Like I said, Sean brings nonstop energy, I LOVE her voice, and they all play a pretty tight set. I think that you should all check Sean out and buy all of her cds, listen to them nonstop, myspace stalk the hell out of her, parlay that into show stalking, stand in the back where you think no one can see you and take lots of pictures of her and then post them all over your room.

Well, the new video we threw together for Watchin' The World Go By has had over 10,000 hits between Myspace and YouTube.
Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that Sean is naked?
Or maybe it's just that her imitation of the windsock/tire store guy is amazing.
We couldn't tell ya'.
We just got new photos from the gig opening for Blues Traveler.
They're in the gallery - check 'em out!
Thanks to Ron Luxemburg for taking them!
And thanks to IndiTude.com for the awesome write up on the Kitchen Sink CD this month!
We've got 3/4 of the new CD written. We plan to have it out this summer (if all goes well and we can get recording done between all of the gigs we're booking - wish us luck!)
We're performing the tunes live already, so come on down and get a preview!
Be sure to check our gig schedule to find out when we'll be in a town near you. We're booking more gigs all the time!
Keep in touch. We'll be sure to let you know when we're in your area!
Thanks!
Talk to you soon,
Sean Wiggins & lOne gOat
January, 2008
Here we are, 1/2 way into January already!
If the rest of the year goes like this, Sean and lOne gOat will be surpassing our 100 bookings in 2007 by a long shot!
Opening for Blues Traveler on 1/12 at the Arlington in Santa Barbara was a ton of fun!
Photos are up in the gallery - check 'em out!
We're also featured on Kweevak.com this month. Thanks Kweevak!
Be sure to check our gig schedule to find out when we'll be in a town near you.
As soon as we get a chance to breathe, some new tunes will be coming down the pike. Almost 1/2 the new CD is already written!
Be sure to keep in touch. We love to hear from you and if you'd like to be on our email list, we'll be sure to let you know when we're in your area!
Thanks!
Talk to you soon!
December, 2007
So Sean & lOne gOat are still movin' along.
We won't even go into details about our marathon Thanksgiving Day dinner / gig / party.
Word has it a certain movie will be released early next year and tunes from the latest CD are on the sound track. More to come soon on that!
We've been up and down the coast of California several times this Fall alone as well as our multiple visits to Chicago and points beyond. We have some neat photos available in our gallery if you'd like to see them.
Be sure to check our gig schedule to find out when we'll be in a town near you. We'll have played over 100 shows in 2007 (and recorded the last full-length CD in between!). We expect even more and better things in the year to come.
New tunes are flying about and we'll be sure to catch some and record them before they flit away.
Be sure to keep in touch. We love to hear from you and if you'd like to be on our email list, we'll be sure to let you know when we're in your area!
Thanks!
Talk to you soon!

Well, this fall is heating up. Or is it cooling down?
Either way, we are almost all booked up for the next few months. It's great!
Paul & I are off to Chicago & Saugatuck, MI this week. Chandler will be playing drums with us and she always rocks! If the e-mails I've received so far are an indication, we'll be having a wild time: packed shows with midwest audiences (who are always "expressive")
So, I'd better rest up before the trip. :)
Then the band is heading up to play a restaurant opening in Santa Maria Friday night, back down to McG's in the valley on Saturday and the Manhattan Beach Old Town Fair on Sunday ( just give you an idea as to our schedule).
Paul & I continue to play as a duo all around.
We love Cold Spring Tavern in Santa Barbara - which thank goodness - survived the recent fires in the area!
Paul & I are now regulars at The Bull Pen in redondo Beach and at Ireland's 32 in Van Nuys. Come on out1
And yes, we are starting to work on some new tunes ... & new T-shirts ...
Time to buckle down and get stuff done!
More news soon; cool stuff; (booking Mammoth Mountain again soon, by the way)!
Take care,
Sean

HI all, from the goat yard!
Well, we've been gigging fools. We also have been getting some awesome reviews. The Kitchen Sink is on the move; you can check out our new reviews on our press page.
Paul & I are off to Chicago this week to play Market Days. I have played this festival a few times, but never with Paul. We are going to have a blast, and we are adding Chandler on percussion for the occassion!
We won another award and compilation CD placement for the Songwriters and Storytellers Compilation Contest. The CD is out now.
The band went up to Gilroy and we ate a bit too much garlic, but we are all friends so it's ok. That was our 2nd time and I am hoping we will be back again next year.
The band will be all over in August and this fall. If you are on The Central Coast, we have a regular gig at Cold Spring Tavern in Santa Barbara, and we are back at Clautiere VIneyards in Paso Robles this August. I highly recommend that show; they are a wild bunch at that place!!!
Hope to see you soon and thanks for all your support,
Sean Wiggins & lOne gOat!

Things are heating up. The CD has only been out for a month and we have already added it to these play lists:
WKJC: CW Junction Radio, Michigan
KCSN: Tied to the Tracks, 88.5 FM Los Angeles
The "On The Horizon" radio show
Indie911.com
Plus, the band has been getting more & more bookings and they are not the free kind :). This is so much better than just playing the showcase scene and lugging equipment in for a 1/2 show that was supposed to be a 45 minute show, after you have already gone on 2 hours after you were scheduled and all of your fans have departed.
We have a bunch of reviews on the way & we will post 'em as soon as they are up.
You can see an interview with me at Music Industry Newswire.
Anyway - will have more later. Thanks for stopping by :)

OK - so the new CD is here. I have to say, Paul worked miracles on this. Paul was the engineer, the guitarist, the graphic designer and had to listen to me.... Yikes.... I don't know how he did it!
But - it's done and sounds great and we are excited.
The band has been playing out a bunch more and we are having a blast and have been getting repeat gigs as well as new ones all the time! This summer we will be back up in Paso Robles at Clautiere Vineyards and also we will be back at The Garlic Festival, The Manhattan Beach Hometown Fair, Pershing Square & The Sherman Oaks Fair.
This band is so much fun to work with. We almost don't have to rehearse. It's like we read each other's minds. I love it!
To give an example: On the CD, there is a new tune called, "Cold Wind". I wrote it while we were recording and brought it into the recording session one night. Robert, the drummer, had never heard it, so I played him 1/2 of the song and said "let's record"! We sort of played it and then the red light went on and we did it in one take. Robert had never even heard the bridge. Just amazing!!!!!! I am a lucky gal to be working with such talented guys like Paul, Robert & Todd!!!!!!!
Pick up a CD - it's got a little of everything on it!!!!
Hope to see you out at a show soon,
Sean

Wow
The new year is upon us. Am I ready? ARGH! We are busy booking gigs for Paul and me and for the band. Check the schedule, it's already booking up. We are in the process of finishing the new CD with Lone Goat! Yee ha. If you would like a special deal, you can pre-order the CD and a T-shirt for $15.
Let me know in an e-mail if you would like to take me up on it.
We are also looking at booking out of country, which would be cool.
2006 brought about 6 new CD compilations and many more radio and internet radio stations. It has been good and we love Myspace. Thanks to all the new stations that hooked us up!
See u in 2007!
